For my music video I've chosen to do "Take It Or Leave It" by Cage the Elephant. The genre of this song & band is Indie Rock, typical traits of this genre are:
- Low Budget, therefore there is often a lack of high end, sophisticated graphics or special FX
- Typically do not feature backing vocals strongly, and solos aren't hugely portrayed
- Lyrics are usually melancholy or introspective
- There is often a strong DIY production ethic (whilst this isn't featured in my chosen song's pre-existing music video, which is structured to mimic a 1970's roller-derby expo, however I fully intend to utilise this specific technique)
